Beginning Tango

A social walking dance. There are no set predetermined steps. It is a pure dance of improvised lead and follow. A dance of intense connection between two people. A dance of mystery. Suitable for absolute beginners. No partner required.


Intermediate Tango
Sundays, 5-6 pm, Tango Center
3 subjects - 3 weeks each

Sunday June 29 - July 13 The Playground of the Cross
Sunday July 20 - August 3 The Playground of the Ocho Cortado
Sunday August 10 - 24 Milonga Steps and Movements
$5/class; $40 paid first class for series, drop in okay


Partner Dancing For Absolute Beginners

Dance for people who have little or no experience. A fun, safe, gentle approach to learning how to dance with a partner to a variety of music. Basic dance movements, Argentine Tango, East Coast Swing, and Salsa steps used to get your body moving. No partner required.
